What is Fight Back?
The Phoenix City Council designates Fight Back areas with the goal of offering specialized support over a limited period of time to assist with resident-driven neighborhood improvement efforts. The designation comes with $54,000 in grant funds to help implement programs and a Neighborhood Specialist from the Neighborhood Services Department to coordinate efforts.

City Councilmen select eight new Fight Back neighborhoods each year in an effort to enhance and improve the community. Three have been selected in the Coronado Neighborhood.
