Coronado Park Improvement Meeting Minutes, June 5, 2008

April meeting minutes approved.

Survey Review

Discussion of whether to put survey announcement in September newsletter. Don will inquire about cost of putting survey insert in newsletter. Consensus is the survey is too large to print in newsletter, but Andrea will ask Jason.

Distribution of survey through probationers not likely (according to Nick at Probation office). Distribution through Boys and Girls club possible, also through Peer / Homework Club at Emerson School (students can take survey on school’s computers).

Possibility of putting lockbox in park to collect paper copies of survey.

Outing in Park with surveys. Joe will ask about reduced cost ice cream.

Changes to survey:
Option or review and edit all answers at the survey.
No questions can be skipped.
Start with statement “Please answer all questions”.

New Business
Field trip to visit bathrooms planned for June. List of new bathrooms in nearby parks provided by Louie from Parks Dept. Planned sites: Encanto, Monterrey, Steele Indian School. Photos will be taken. Ramada design will also be studied/photographed.
