Coronado Kiosks

Every so often I get a phone call from someone wanting to know how many and where the neighborhood kiosks are located.



Here are the few I know of:

southwest corner of 9th St & Oak
southwest corner of Coronado & 11th St.
northeast corner of Virginia & 15th St. (Virginia Park)
east end of Country Club Oval
1401 E. Thomas Rd. (Mothers Against Gangs)

Sunshine Market, 12th and Oak
Coronado Park, on Palm near 13th
Coronado Park, on 13th near Coronado Rd
Boys & Girls Club, on 15th near Willetta
NW corner Brill and 19th St


I've heard that there were a few others that weren't installed that were in the shed behind the community garden, but I don't know if they are still there. If you know there whereabouts, please post them as well.

If you know of any others, please add them.

Anyone interested in going out some weekend soon and updating and refurbishing these kiosks? I find it ironic and deplorable that they are in such delapidated condition: Coronado, a neighborhood that cares, still visible on a few of them...

I'm thinking the weekend of the 21st of June, Saturday and Sunday early, before it gets hot. president@gcna.info if you're up to it.
