The Coronado Neighborhood Association (CNA) invites neighbors to join our GAIN event on the afternoon of Saturday, October 16, 2010.
Putting the U in Community
The GAIN (Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods) Event is an annual event held to celebrate the dedicated residents and strong partnerships that continue to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live, work, and play. The emphasis for 2010 will be to empower residents with the information and resources necessary to be part of the solution in improving our neighborhoods.
Please join us for an evening of activities, free food, information, games for kids and free prizes.
In past years, Coronado sponsored this event entirely on it's own, but we have steadily been developing partnerships with nearby neighborhood associations. This year we are pleased to have both the Avalon and Green Gables Neighborhood Associations join us in our planning and organizational meetings.
Our theme this year, "Putting the U in CommUnity" and we will be showcasing the work that the various neighborhood associations have done together to improve the quality of life for our residents. We are providing food, entertainment, and prizes to our residents to encourage participation. We are anticipating that at least 400 residents will attend the event. We welcome any donations for this event.
